NSW Central Coast Photographer – June 10 on 10

It’s hard to believe it’s the 10th of June already. Luckily today is a Public Holiday so no work for my husband and no school for Alice. This morning I got up bright and early to try to capture some photos of what goes on in the world before the sun wakes up. Having 2 small girls and a shiftworking husband, I rarely get the time to get out and photograph at this time of day so took advantage of having him home.  Unfortunately for me the sunrise was very disappointing but I still enjoyed myself and got to see what other people like to do at such an early hour. The rock fishermen at Avoca looked like they’d been there all night, even pitching tents on the rocks to sleep in.  After the sun rose, I went for a drive over to Terrigal where the keen swimmers were heading out for their morning swim. Winter or Summer, they’ll be out there enjoying their exercise.

After breakfast, we had a great family day enjoying the winter sunshine at the skate park and beach. I was hoping to get out again this evening for some sunset photos but as would be my luck, it’s now raining and overcast.

Hope you enjoy this month’s 10 on 10 project. See you next month.
