A lot has changed since my last post. The world has been shaken up by Coronavirus (Covid-19) and life is not the same as it was 2 months ago.
We should be in Tasmania right now enjoying a lovely family holiday but that had to be postponed. The girls are not able to go to gymnastics training anymore and it is looking highly unlikely they will be able to compete in any competitions later this year. They are missing being able to play with friends and go to the movies and go shopping. We have had to adjust to remote learning for school which has not been easy and there have been a lot of stressful, tearful days.
However, we have a lot to be grateful for.
We are grateful that we are all healthy and that Linden and I still have jobs to go to and can afford to pay our mortgage each month. We are grateful that we are on school holidays and don’t have to stress about school work for 2 weeks. We are grateful we have a backyard for the girls to get out and play in. We are grateful that we are still able to get out for bushwalks and surf at the beach. We have been rediscovering old tracks that we haven’t walked in years and enjoying the beauty of the Central Coast National Parks. The weather has been perfect for outdoor activities.
We know that this won’t last forever and we are looking forward to when we are able to go back to some of the things we love.
